The Dahle 716 Departmental Paper Shredder is a high-volume document shredder designed for demanding departmental and professional environments. It combines P-7 security, micro-cut shredding, continuous operation and a 160-litre waste collection volume for efficient document destruction in high-volume office use.
High-Volume Shredding Performance
The Dahle 716 can shred up to 9 sheets of 80 gsm paper in a single pass. Its 400 mm entry width accommodates paper efficiently, while the powerful 1,650 W motor supports high-performance, continuous operation.
P-7 High-Security Micro-Cut Shredding
With a P-7 security level and a particle size of 1 × 4.7 mm, the Dahle 716 provides highly secure micro-cut document shredding. The machine is also rated F-3 and T-6 according to its specified security levels.
160-Litre Waste Collection
The large 160-litre waste collection volume is designed for high-volume shredding applications, reducing the frequency of emptying the waste container. The pull-out container and optical waste-level indicator make waste management more convenient.
Automatic Oiling for Consistent Performance
The Dahle 716 features an integrated 400 ml oil tank with automatic lubrication of the cutting rollers. This helps maintain the cutting system during operation. DAHLE also provides a 5-year guarantee on the cutting rollers for models with security levels P-6 and P-7.
User-Friendly Operation
The illuminated control panel provides intuitive operation with audio signals. An integrated light barrier controls the electronic start and stop function, while the automatic paper reverse function helps clear excess paper. The shredder also automatically switches off when the waste container is full or the door is open.
Quiet & Mobile Design
Despite its high-volume capabilities, the Dahle 716 is designed for extremely quiet operation, with an idle noise level of 52 dB(A). Swivel castors provide convenient mobility, with two lockable castors for stability. The unit also provides 5 cm of ground clearance.
